I enjoy going to Anthropologie & Co.’s flagship store in Walnut Creek. I rarely get to buy something but it’s always fun to visit.

Anthropologie & Co.

Anthropologie, organic set up

I was there last Friday afternoon because I wanted to check out their velvet sofa. They have a new display, not the one I liked. It’s not like I am buying, I just enjoy looking at home furnishings. Medyo nahihilig ako ngayon sa velvet chair, sofa, sheets, drapes. A bit old fashioned, but elegant and classic.

After sitting on every chair and sofa and touching every table on the ground floor, I went to the second floor supposedly to look for a dress but I got stuck at the shoes section.

I see lots of women wearing really fashionable styles but I am so boring. I wear the same styles, the same brands, the same colors. Boring.

The brands are not familiar to me. Prices range from $100-$300 a pair.

Maybe the older I get I should be more experimental when it comes to fashion. Kahit hindi bagay sa akin, sige lang, pakialam ng iba.

While I was standing at the corner in front of Anthropologie waiting to cross the street to go to Crate and Barrel, a white BMW stopped in front of me.
The wife and two daughters got off and entered Anthropolgie. Nice pala pag top down ang kotse. Kung presko ang lugar, no pollution, no vandals. Hindi pwede yan sa EDSA, baka hagisan ng basura ng mga nakasakay sa bus. BAgo ako makarating sa office, itim na lipstick ko sa alikabok.

  1. This is why i love reading ur blog kc even if i havent been to the US yet but with ur stories, prang nka-free tour na rin ako 🙂 Same goes with ur stories about the places where you eat. At least we get to know more or less ganun pla lasa ng food dun and more importantly how much would it cost to dine in those places.
I wish and pray I would get the chance also to visit the US someday ☺️ With the way things are, I doubt if I’d be given a chance. ☺️

  2. Dear Fam,
Thank you for reading my blog.
US Visit— always keep your dream alive even if at the moment it seems unreachable. I’ve been to places I didn’t even dream of or imagine. Just keep your faith. Regards.
