Oyen gave me a nice suede Coach bag with beads, her pasalubong three years ago
from her New York trip. It’s a blue tote, a little heavy because of the suede leather. I’ve been complimented a few times by ladies in toilets.
Suede leather pala is easy to get dirty. After she gave it to me, I used it continuously for a month. Then it became this dirty na. I tried to wash a portion but the water stained.
I just kept the bag and have completely forgotten that I even have it, until two weeks ago when I tried to clean my cabinet.
I brought it to Quickie in Galleria but they don’t clean bags.
Edmund suggested that I bring it to a dry cleaner. I went to Fabricare but they told me they can’t do it. They tried once but the bag suffered more chemical marks. Lalong napasama.
I went to Besa’s in Greenhills, behind Mercury Drug and when the woman saw it, she nodded her head and told me P3,500. I was shocked. Ang mahal naman. She said sige P3,000 na lang. Sobrang mahal pa rin. I said P2,500. She agreed but told me to pay it right in full. I did, but I made sure it’s indicated in the receipt that I paid in full and in cash.
I haven’t gone back to claim my bag. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it would not look like crap.
Hi ms. Annie… go and check out vintage restore manila..its a shop that repairs branded bags. My sister brought my mom’s vintage bags to them and it turned out fine. I think they’re just in white plains.
Mam Annie,
do you have the telephone number of Besa’s?
Thanks.
Hi Annie,
