Despite my husband’s frowning face and objections, I went ahead and ordered a set of plastic playground equipment for my apopoo, Theo. As a compromise, I downgraded it to something simpler and basic. Yung hindi masyadong pang public playground kasi isa lang naman sya, ang maybe paminsan-minsan meron syang friends who will come over.
I bought it from a local importer from China. Christmas gift sana in December 2024 — but the shipment took much longer than expected. Then it became a birthday gift for his 3rd birthday in 2025… but it was delayed again.
Finally, it’s here.
It was delivered on February 25, 2026, at 7:30 in the morning. The truck left Antipolo at 4 am. Wowa and Theo were both present to welcome his very own playground equipment.
It’s cute and small — probably good enough until he’s around six years old. And it’s not just for Theo anymore. Dalawa na ang apo ko. Of course, my siblings’ apos are welcome to come over too — Bryson, Mila, Belle, and Aurora.
We’re even planning a playdate soon with two or three of Theo’s classmates. Sige, para masulit naman!
