We walked from our hotel to the green thru the back door.

Every where I looked around here is picturesque.
St. Andrews is a photographer’s paradise.

St. andrews bridge

Our first destination was to cross the iconic stone Swilcan bridge connecting the first and eighteenth fairways on the St. Andrews Old Course.

You haven’t been to St. Andrews, Scotland if you go home without a picture standing on this small Swilcan bridge. This is one photo op you shouldn’t miss. This is the most important shot here. This is the world famous bridge many have copied in their own fields and backyards.

This tiny stone bridge originally built 700 years ago for shepherds to cross has become so famous and is always seen in magazines, postcards, calendars, internet.
Never mind if I don’t play golf. This photo would be my claim to fame that I’ve been here.
