Christmas lights are slowly sprouting around the village. Early bird yung bahay ng anak ni Lucio Tan. Meron syang taga-kabit.
Ford Philippines decorated all the showrooms with their own version of Xmas tree.
Ford Cainta Chrsitmas tree is also up. I bought this tree and decors last year. Medyo kalbo nga kasi ang mahal naman pag punung-puno ng trimmings. Some of the poinsettias came from our house. Yung mga luma na.
Last night, when my son came home from playing basketball with his high school friends, he asked me “Mom, what do you want for Christmas?” Sweet naman ng anak ko. Wala naman akong biglang maisagot. I didn’t know what to say.
Tapos, he asked about his gift. Hayun, meron palang catch. Kasi last October, he told me if he could have a cabinet in his room for Christmas. I wasn’t able to order it. Kasi matagal yan, custom made. He’s buying a new tv daw kasi his tv is small. He’s going to sell his tv for P10,000 daw, and he would make ipon to buy a new one.
Mom——- “Sige anak, I will just give you a tv for Christmas. How much is it?”
He’s been going around na pala for quite sometime, checking out tv displays in practically all appliance stores.
I told him, sige I’ll give him a tv for Christmas, sya na lang bumili ng cabinet nya. The cabinet is more expensive, lugi daw sya. He would just save money daw so could buy a tv set, but it could take time kasi P33,000 daw.
I suggested to him to just get the tv in the den. ayaw kasi, while we were away, two times yun bigla na lang bumukas in the middle of the night. That was after they came back form the cemeteries. Baka merong sumama na moomoo. Yung Channel nadun sa horror na Tagalog movie. A day after we arrived, I heard people talking, tapos I went around the house, I saw the tv on. On the same Channel, Tagalog movie. I asked all the maids and my son if anyone turned it on.
He’s afraid baka daw the tv would turn on by itself, even if it’s not plugged. Sabi ko di mabuti, we save on electricity.
