While Edmund and I were in the kitchen last night, I opened the cupboard and got a glass. I placed it on the kitchen counter but it tipped over, I screamed. I tried to catch it but it broke in half and the upper part fell to the floor, I screamed again while it was falling on the floor, kasi I was anticipating it would shatter into pieces. Luckily that part of the goblet didn’t break. Pieces of broken glass were left on the kitchen counter together with the leg of the goblet. I caught Edmund’s facial expression. He frowned and his eyes looked the other way. He looked angry.
A———– “I saw your reaction, bakit parang galit ka sa akin and you rolled your eyes”.
E———– No, I wasn’t. And I never rolled my eyes.
Ang nasabi ko he rolled his eyes but actually he didn’t. He’s right. Matalim lang ang tingin nya, mukha syang galit.
E———– Hindi ako galit, nagulat lang ako.
Minsan meron din natatapon o nababasag, nagugulat din ako pero hindi ako mukhang galit.
My daughter came home after 30 minutes. I was still in the kitchen reading the newspaper. Edmund had gone up to our room.
Oyen went to the dirty kitchen.

She found the broken glass I dumped in the garbage can. She took it and showed it me: “Mom, did you break a glass?”
I said YES.
One time naman Edmund was laughing.
A———– What’s funny?
He saw 3 glasses of water on my night table, plus I was holding another one.
Ibig sabihin, every time I go down to the kitchen I would get a glass and bring it up to my room. Ulyanin na.
