Edmund and I both enjoyed the concert. He didn’t fall asleep. He was wide awake and enjoyed every minute of it.
Towards the end, he removed the microphone. The effect would have been more dramatic if the crowd chose to be quiet and just savored the intensity of the moment.
The MOA Arena was filled with hundreds and thousands of heart cut outs. This was cool. It gave me an good idea, I would fill our bedroom with tiny hearts on Valentine’s day. Tapos papaliparin ko ng electric fan. Sigurado ko kikilabutan si Edmund.
The crowd was chanting we want more. In most concerts ganyan naman talaga.
And the artists knew that there’s always an encore. EXCEPT in some instances wherein as soon the artist left the stage. The crowd also started leaving, wala ng encore. If you were the artist, would you feel good about not having an encore? Maybe, if you’re tired already. Pero mas mainam yung people asking for you to come back and perform. Hindi yung, ay salamat tapos na.
We didn’t foresee the chaos that would follow. Imagine thousands of people leaving all at the same time. I told Edmund we should wait for a few minutes.
If you spend time looking at people’s faces, you would see many celebrities.
We saw Ogie Alcasid, naku nalimutan ko na mga names nila. Basta madami. Sorry makakalimutin na ako. Yung iba hindi ko alam ang names but artista sila.
E——-“Hindi mauubos yan”.
We started moving. Edmund followed the wrong crowd. Kala nya mas mabilis dito. I was feeling dizzy and claustrophobic. This was a bad move. This was a dangerous situation. Kung merong emergency, we would definitely suffocate here. No ventilation.
I felt relieved when I saw the outside world. We landed in the parking building opposite the MOA Arena. We walked down one flight, crossed the street and got on our van. Uwian na. It was worth our time, effort, and daughter’s money. Thank you anak. Thank you Buble.
We arrived home at almost midnight. Edmund went straight to bed. He has a golf championship at 6 am (which he won).
