I found a dozen customers watching the third game of Cleveland vs. Warriors.
The volume was kept low and they were watching with no emotions. I violated our company’s rule of no watching tv for employees by turning up the volume and watching the game. May pa “oh my God oh my God” pa ako pag naka shoot yung yellow.
I couldn’t see the names and letter clearly, basta I thought the gold uniform was the Warriors. Pag naka shoot, may pa clap clap pa ako. Some of our customers were looking at me and wondering who I was, malakas ang loob, nilakasan ko pa ang volume para feel na feel ko. May pa padyak padyak pa ako. pag na-miss nung yelo yung shoot. Yun pala kalaban yung yellow. The Warriors pala were wearing blue. Pahiya naman ako.
This morning, I heard the tv was on. With my eyes still closed I asked Edmund “tart, nananalo ba tayo?” Then I fell back to sleep.
When I arrived at the office today, I saw some customers watching game 5. It was a tie with 8 minutes to go. I went up to my room first to leave my bag, tapos pumwesto na ako to watch. Ganun uli, ‘nilakasan ko yung volume at humingi ako ng silya at tubig na may yelo. Baka uhawin ako sa ka o oh my God. There were things waiting for my immediate attention so I couldn’t watch the game. When I went back to the lounge, the game was done. Warriors won. Ay thank you.
One more win for the Warriors and off to a big celebration.
