I miss my parents’ ice drop. I’ve mentioned before that my parents used to have an ice candy factory in Rizal.
I saw a guy pushing a tagpi-tagpi cart selling ice drop in Pila-pila, Binangonan, Rizal recently. He said these were supplied by a factory in Pasig. Ang layo ng pinanggalingan.
I want to make some for my consumption and to serve to house guests but I don’t know how to make them. I don’t even know how to begin. My mom’s flavors were delicious and authentic.
She used fresh ingredients like beans, ube, red mongo beans, buko, pinya. Super nakaka-miss.
