Salamat Bes and Bess (always)

Salamat Bes and Bess (always)

Dear Annie,
I hope you’re feeling better and having a more relaxed days. Please continue to be well and happy.
Your most recent blog post “The Case of Missing Supilyo” has attracted reactions from your readers and apparently one particular reader is not so pleased with it ( and one homosexual story) I know it’s his / her view, but I feel na this person only sees the negative side of your stories, even if pa – modest sya in saying those things. May mga tao na meron at merong sasabihin.

Annie, please know that I read blogs and I follow at least 10 Filipino bloggers. You’re on top of my list. I can’t tell you enough how your life story keeps me sane in this busy world where I am in right now, you keep me grounded and you always put a smile on my face. Please believe me, hindi ka kasali sa pasosyal na ladies. I read your stories, I’ve met you….I know it.

Let say, If I don’t like a particular blog/ writer and I find it all shallow just for the sake of having a blog in the world wide web, I simply unfollow such person and stop reading the blog. Tapos na po ang usapan. I don’t comment and give my piece kasi hahaba pa ang usapan at baka makasakit pa ako ng kalooban, wag na lang. This is just me.

I may sound sipsip sa iyo, but let me tell you this – I got your back. (anytime!)

May the good Lord continue to keep you and your entire family. Be happy An, cause you are giving a lot of sunshine to a lot of people.

Love,
Bess

——————-

I am a simple person. I am educated. I work hard for a living. I am not shallow. Your blog ( yes, I’ve read all of them) is my constant company on my spare time in this busy world where I am in. I’ve met you in person…… I find you so driven, full of heart and such an inspiration to a lot of people.

Please know, I value your views and for that I am grateful.
Ingat!

  1. I missed out the negative comment so I went back to make usyoso. Di talaga sasaya ang istorya kung walang kontrapela. In my opinion, it was so petty, irrelevant and not logical to accuse someone of being stereotyped just because the person involved was a kasambahay, gay, etc. The issue in the story was about her ACTION and its consequences, not because of who she is or her status in life. Para bang may bitterness lang talaga si kontrapela at nakahanap lang ng perfect timing to provoke a discussion. 🙂
I always enjoy your wit, cheerfulness and your thoughts/reactions in your daily life. Don’t mind the bashers, I’m pretty sure na mas nakakarami ang nag-enjoy at na-inspired from your stories.

  2. I choose to think the reader means no harm. The truth is, there were kasambahay na sobrang konsumisyon. Like the one who wore Ms. Annie’s Daughter’s clothes and took selfies pa and the driver who took Ms. Annie’s Son’s wallet instead of returning it. At marami pa pong iba. Syempre paalisin mo pag ganun eventually kahit bigyan ng chance, About the homosexuality issue, well, that issue is actually personal to all of us. We have our own personal views about that. Ako pag masama ang dating ng homosexual behavior katulad ng ginagawa ng isang host, hindi ako natutuwa. Kay Aldub na lang ako kahit di ako nanonood sa tv, nababasa ko lang sa internet.

    1. That is correct Joey, OMB reader Chris only expressed his opinion so that’s fine with me.
You are all free to express your thoughts.

  3. Dear Bes, I don’t mean OMB any harm. I read her blog and I like her to bits. But do understand that like OMB, I don’t beat around the bush. this is what communication is all about: “being open.”

That is why I apologized profusely because I have the feeling that I was judging her unfairly. But as a regular reader of OMB I think I should let her know what I feel. Besides, why do we have a comments section for? tell me.

You said you are educated “modesty” aside, I think you can well discern that mine was an honest opinion not to dis Annie or feed her false compliments, that is so not me.

and to Tania whos says “haters gonna hate?” whose hating who? Annie is too lovely to hate.
