I booked a table for four and the following Sunday we went on a mini culinary adventure in the hills of Antipolo.

The travel time from our house took an hour.
There is no karatula outside. We just guessed this house could be the one.
It’s beautiful inside. I instantly guessed that it must have been a former vacation house now opened to the public.
We were amazed at how big their koi fish are. My husband said Yen and I acted as if it was our first time to see a koi fish. I told him of course we’ve seen koi fish many times before. We were not beaming at the koi. We were amazed at the size. Yun talaga, kj na naman. Hindi na nasanay sa amin.
The owner’s love for hard wood is evident.
Every chair or bench is different. It’s like a piece of sculpture.
We didn’t like the small table they reserved for us.
It’s located against the window. Not only it’s small for four people, it’s hot there and the sun’s glares could hit my eyes.
They probably thought that would be a perfect spot because of the view from the window.
It’s also overlooking the garden below.
I saw a long table right in the center of the dining area. Since there were no other reservations for lunch, they agreed to let us occupy that long table good for 14 people.
Bait ng asawa ko ngayon ah, he was supposed to join a golf tournament but when I told him I booked lunch, he voluntarily opted out. Dati na naman yang mabait. Gabi-gabi mabait kasi tulog.
