Slipped and Fell Hard in my Bathroom - Oh My Buhay

Slipped and Fell Hard in my Bathroom

April 2, 2019
Fifteen minutes before leaving for the airport, I went back to my bathroom to get the kettle I borrowed from Edmund’s bathroom. I was holding it with my right hand when I stepped on a wet surface. I slipped and fell hard with my bended right elbow taking the impact. I also felt my right shoulder moved upwards. I sat up but couldn’t stand up from the pain on my elbow. My husband heard my wailing and found me slumped on the bathroom floor. He put ice around my elbow while I wailed from the excruciating pain. I must have cried for 15 minutes straight. My flight to London was at 1:25 pm and at 10:30 am I was still sitting on our bedroom floor and crying like a baby. On our way to the airport, Edmund still made sure that my elbow was iced. He experienced sprains and broken limbs while playing basketball that’s why he knows that ice is the very first aid necessary.

  1. Ms Annie.. sorry abt ur elbow.. but maybe u should’ve seen a doctor for that injury since u said u felt like ur right shoulder moved upwards.. i do hope walang fracture or broken bones.. Please be more careful when walking around the house lalo na sa bathroom where most accidents happen.. i hope u have some pain meds with u to help alleviate the pain..

I hope u will feel better when u get to London.. God bless u and the family and have a safe trip to London, Ms Annie..
