The community pantry hype bloomed like flowers in springtime. I saw donyas manning a small table and taking selfies. More like a novelty to them but in a good way. At least our kababayans who are in need get some friendly help. I’ve seen some near a market, maybe it’s not a good idea to give away free stuff at a market where small vendors are hoping to make a living. Baka wala ng bumili sa kanila kasi kukuha ng libre. Siguro, position the free items’ table away from the market.
It’s a good rhing that we get together and help each other, even strangers. It takes so little to donate something to help our less fortunate kababayans.
