Turkey is one beautiful country. The people are nice and their culture is embedded with a unique history. It belongs to two continents. One side is Asia and just cross the short bridge and you shall be in Europe.
Ever since we toured it several years ago courtesy of Federal Phoneix Insurance, we always longed to go back. Shopping is cheap and all the clothes are made in Turkey, not from China. Until now, when I see my husband or son wearing a nice polo shirt or jeans, most likely they’re made in Turkey. Every time I would ask where they bought it, the answer is always “Turkiye”.

Turkey has suffered from violent unrest and instability. Just a few months ago, many people were killed from a car bombing. This year alone, there were eight terrorist attacks.
Today just a few hours ago, three suicide bombers detonated bombs and killed at least 41 people at their international airport injuring more than 149 more. The number of deaths is expected to rise because many were seriously injured. My heart bleeds for those killed and injured. Their loved ones were looking forward to seeing them come home. Now, they’re gone forever. Sad.
Times have really changed. Life has become so uncertain. It has always been, but more so today in this chaotic world. There is no more respect to life. #Godpleaseprotectus
