I came home at around 5 in the afternoon. There were assorted gifts on the kitchen island, mostly foodstuff and for Oyen. I didn’t notice at first the bouquet of orange tulips. When I did see it, I thought it was for my daughter.
It was only after a few minutes that I noticed the card. Oh, it was for me, from Mister Yee.
Thank you dearest husband.
36 years. At this age and time, that’s an achievement. Newlyweds nowadays give up on the 2nd or 3rd year.
Chugging along, chugging along.
We didn’t go out anymore to eat. Traffic outside the village was so bad and we were discouraged to leave. Oyen was also no feeling well so I just decided to order pizza delivery.
We were also traveling the next day and we needed to pack so we just had a simple dinner at home— pizza we ordered and spaghetti I cooked in ten minutes using whatever ingredients there were in the pantry.
