I think this would be our 3rd visit to Dr. Eufemio’s clinic after the surgery.
I went to the office first in the morning and went home at 2 pm to pick-up my son.
His friend Milton plus one more friend were in my son’s room visiting him.
I waited till the boys had left.
We went back to Cardinal Santos last Friday afternoon to change the dressing and wound cleaning.
This time around, we waited for almost two hours. When we arrived, the secretary informed my son that we would be 3rd, but then more people came and still we were not called. After an hour and 15 minutes, she said two more. There were patients who came back with their x-ray results, so they were given priority.
Picnic while waiting.
Chicken empanada for me, puto and kutsinta for my son.
When we were getting off the van, my son insisted on using one crutch only. When the doctor saw him, he looked surprised and asked why. He said walking with one crutch is worst because more weight is being put on the injured ankle.
I ran to the exit to get the other crutch from the van.
I noticed this huge tree, only 33 years old according to the security guard but it looks 300 years old.
Comfort food, sorbetes na may tinapay for my son , and sorbetes sa apa for me.
My son and I both don’t like chocolate flavored sorbetes.
We only eat ube, cheese and mango.
Two flights up
I changed his bedsheet and pillow cases again.
I had the throw pillow covers washed na rin. Parang napaparanoid na ako sa dust.
Edmund and I have stopped using aircon in our room for the past 5 days to save on electricity. Malamig naman kasi. We just keep one window open and placed a fan to help circulate the cold air. We’re siphoning the air off from the outside. Although there are lots of trees near this window, maalikabok pa rin.
