Oyen was craving for burger and specifically the one from 8 cuts burger.
She’s been to their restaurant at the Fort.
We got a consensus and no one objected, so after attending the anticipated mass last saturday, we went to the 8 cuts burger located on the second floor of U P Town Center.
We sat right beside an electrical outlet, perfect since my battery was dead.
Looking at the menu, I thought mura lang pala dito.
Edmund was looking for the most expensive burger, kasi baka iyon ang pinaka-masarap. He went for Q Daddy P295.00
He ordered a can of coke. They gave him the LOLO. That’s not a compliment.
Oyen ordered French Fries with SKIN ON. Price is higher than naked fries. Oyen asked the waiter if this’ skin on kasi we couldn’t see the skin.
My opinion: not worth the P155 tag price in terms of quantity and quality.
I veered away from burger and went for fish and chips to my regret. My family was done eating before my order came. We had to follow it up 3 x. I think they forgot my order. All fish and chips here in the Philippines are now cream dory. It used to be lapu-lapu. Even Buon Chon uses cream dory. Nakakasuya after a while. But cream dory is the most practical kasi it’s cheaper than lapulapu and it tastes good rin but my daughter told me it’s rich in cholesterol.
I stand corrected, hindi pala mura. It came out a little more than what I’ve expected for a burger meal. The servings were of medium size and with no sidings.
Mam Annie, we’ve also tried their burgers in UP Town. Cool place but we also found their prices a bit stiff.
