Unlike 25 years ago when tableware is always included in the store mix at premium outlets, it’s very seldom now that I encounter a store selling tableware for formal set-ups.
Premium outlets and even shopping malls are now more devoted to fast fashion.
I thought I will only see leather goods at the Parndorf Designer Outlet but to my big surprise, there’s a Rosenthal store here that also carries Versace teapots, cups, and saucers, vases, even spoons and forks.
My heart starts pounding whenever I see beautiful plates, teacups, etc.

h My heart starts pounding every time I see beautiful plates. Â The first thing that comes to mind is if they ship. I will have them ship the items to my sister’s residence.
A—-“Hi, do you ship to the US?”
Store manager —— “I can wrap it well for you to carry.”
Nay ko, ang  bigat-bigat nito, my husband will strangle me.  A set won’t fit even in a big suitcase.
The price of the flatwares is per piece, hindi pang isang dosena.
I am not a fan of Versace’s logo. I don’t like to eat with the head of Medusa staring at me. Â But I do like this set of flatware very much. Very, very much.
I have trouble leaving this place without buying some plates, including flatwares. Â Ang bigat na, kawawa naman my husband. Â We are still traveling to Slovakia and Hungary beginning tomorrow. Â Sige na nga, Â next time na lang.
