As soon as our boat docked at Nevis’ small pier, my husband exclaimed that he liked the small island. He said it’s clean and looks more affluent. Wait, we have only seen .01% of Nevis and yet my husband is already taken.
I am not a beach lover, but for anyone who likes water, clean beaches, boating, and being away from paparazzi, Nevis is your world. No wonder this is one of the favorite hideaways of celebrities and influential people who seek privacy.
There were many big names who had dined at the same restaurant where we ate. I saw photos of Mel B, a former judge in American Idol, and one of the Spice Girls, Kanye West, the former husband of Kim Kardashian, everyone’s favorite Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep, Princess Diana of Great Britain, Oprah Winfrey, and countless sports superstars, actors, from around the world.
The food was good. The lobster was soft and juicy. I can imagine this place really packed and full of life at night. I wish the weather was cooler.
The owner of Sunshine’s Beach Bar and Grill, Llewellyn Sunshine Caines thought Edmund was a Hollywood celebrity. Siguro akala sya si Denzel Washington.
We were here for a day trip and not much to do because the island is small. One day is enough to experience it. But if you want total solitude, then a few days can detoxify your whole being.
