Edmund was picked up by a trader named Charlie and brought to some factories about half-hour away at 8 am on our last day in Guangzhou, April 17, 2012.
I had difficulty waking up, my whole body most especially my lower back, thighs, legs and feet were still ngawit from the traveling and walking. Buffet breakfast ends at 10:30 so I forced myself to get out of bed and ran to the coffee shop.
Kain na naman
Three glasses of freshly squeezed pakwan juice. There is no pressure today because I am not going back to the exhibition hall. I can pee anytime I want.
Any country I go, I always get these from the buffet- salami, cheese, oh where is the papaya?
Edmund and I are in unison— hands down, Ritz Carlton’s machang is by far the best machang we’ve ever tasted. Machang is steamed rice wrapped in lotus leaves, with chicken or pork, or etc. Ritz’ has chicken and mushrooms.
I wanted to get one more but this was the last piece. The buffet is closing in 10 minutes and they didn’t want to steam some more.
I didn’t touch the bread. The machang was already super heavy.
I got so curious and intrigued when I saw the name Peugeot engraved at the bottom of the salt and pepper shakers.
I was once a Peugeot car dealer. Our showroom was in Ortigas Center near ADB and Podium. The building is now occupied by Yamaha. Does Peugeot make kitchen wares too?
Great site. sharing in delicious food . thanks.
