Le Petit Cheri - Oh My Buhay

June 8 was the grand opening and blessing of Le Petit Cheri.  It’s the culmination of a lifetime dream of my sister-in-law to open her very own restaurant. She gives my husband credit for awakening her passion for pastries when he paid for her first oven and baking classes tuition fee when he was still single in his 20s and playing for the Crispa Redmanizers.

She also gives me credit (thank you) for inspiring her and giving her the “lakas ng loob” to pursue her biggest dream.

The result is a very nice cafe and bakeshop located at the Molito Lifestyle Bldg in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The complex is owned by the Madrigals.
Le Petit Cheri occupies the best location among all the restaurants there having two corner sides.

Their whole family all contributed their own ideas in the concept of the interior.  They looked at French Bistros and bought design magazines to form their own ideas.

Their Shrimp Bisque is only P100 per order. I swear, it is so very very good. The croissant is P65 a piece, big and filling.

Le Petit Cheri is open from 7 to 10:30 pm, for breakfast lunch merienda and dinner.
They also have daing na bangus (P281/order) and tapa (P285) for breakfast and hot chocolates (P68), salads and sandwiches, ratatouilee (P50),

Their prices are so so reasonable and some items are unbelieavably cheap:
crepes P150, bread pudding P95, creme brulee P75, cheesescake P148/slice, black forest P125, dobos torte P95,
L’Opera P145, Tartes des Fruits P95, Choux a la Creme P75, Eclair P50, Souffle with Creme Anglaise P50 (where on earth can you find a souffle for fifty bucks?).

UPDATE:

It’s sad to announce that this cafe had closed after two years of operation.

We actually didn’t know.  My husband and I only found out a few years after they had closed shop.

Sometimes we have good ideas and are excited,  but some things work-out some things don’t.    If it was a dream, it was worth pursuing even if it didn’t work out.  At least you could tell to yourself,  you tried.  Rather than be 75 years old and still wondering about your life long dream.  Yung perang nalugi,  sayang nga pero trabaho na lang ulit.

    1. It’s my sister in law who owns the restaurant. I have no information regarding their hiring. sorry I do not have their contact details. They probably have a website, see if u can email your bio data directly. I am in the US now, I intend to visit their restaurant as soon as I am back in Manila. I will inquire about any job vacancy.
