Fort San Pedro in Iloilo - Oh My Buhay

Fort San Pedro in Iloilo

Fort San Pedro is also one of the places Edmund brought us to on our first day in Iloilo City.  He and his two elder brothers and their Auntie Flor lived near this area for a short while.  The place burned down. He remembered that during the commotion,   their neighbor handed him over a baby pig and he told little Edmund to make sure that the pig doesn’t get away.    Edmund vividly remembers that he held on to the piglet so tightly that the pig couldn’t even move.

The place has since changed, there are many houses now that looked like illegal settlers.

This is a beautiful area where one can watch the sunset. This could be a tourist area or promenade, sayang naman kung mapupuno ng mga squatters.
