Our two-hour travel time to Nasugbu, Batangas on Saturday, September 8, 2012 was extended to 3 and a half because we made 3 stops.
First, at the Eton showroom after we exited from Slex, next was to buy white corn at Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay road, then next was lunch at Green ATS.

Green ATS Tagaytay

It was Malou Panelo’s birthday but since she hasn’t been to Punta Fuego, naingganyo ko sya to accompany me.

We had a very simple meal, a small order of Bulalo and tawilis.

It was a bit overcast but Taal volcano could still be seen from afar.

I don’t like the New Generation Currency (NGC). Parang mas madaling maluma. Mukhang madumi, mas mainam pa yung New Design Series (NDS), kahit lukot na mas malinis tingnan. The new P1,000 bill is very similar to the new P100 kaya nakaka lito same with the P50 and P20.

We left Green Ats at 1 pm and reached the Peninsula de Punta Fuego in Nasugbu at 2 pm.

There were so many gate guards and their security is tight.

We were ushered to the visitor reception. There were so many school children playing, parang naguluhan ako.
The last time I was here was some 10 years ago and the visitor center then looked better.

Punta Fuego was a disappointment that day. The heat was strong enough to toast my veins and I simply could not enjoy a vacation with this kind of temperature.

Malou could not stand the few minutes of heat either. Grabe talaga, super. It felt like a hundred degrees. And the fact that it’s supposed to be “ber” months na.

Punta Fuego’s marina, walang ka hangin-hangin.
Marina - oh my buhay

Edmund never liked this place kasi the two times we spent a night here, we stayed most of the time inside the airconditioned house we rented because it was hot outside. And at night, we could not stay in the balcony because we were swarmed with langaw and other kulisap.

It rained when we reached the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road,

Sta. Rosa Sky

and look….a rainbow! Wow, we’re so blessed.
