When we arrived, tens of thousands have already positioned themselves with banig and tents. Some took down the show’s tarpaulins and used them as mats. Thousands were standing near the steel barricade for a front row view.
The place looked like a combination of a camp site, carnival, refugee camp, picnic site, meron pang ukay-ukay.
The hot air balloons lifted off starting at 5:30 am. but we got there at 7:45 am.
The only one we’ve seen was a flying bus.
Oyen said “Ma, do you think her Hermes is fake?”
It was cloudy when we got there.
By 8:20 am, the sun, as if on cue, started shining so brightly, nakakasilaw, by 8:30,. ang init na.
The Breitling jets arrived at 8:40 am. They took off from the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport.
It was one of the most spectacular shows I have ever seen.
Again, as if the clouds had a switch, they re-appeared right after the Breitling jets show finished.
But even if it’s particlaly cloudy, the sun was still hot.
Popsicle- to cool us but it made us thristy.
Popsicles have become slimmer.
We lingered in the area for about an hour.
After watching the Angeles City Flying lite plane exhibition and the fighter jets formation of the Breitling pilots, parang we’re so encouraged to learn how to fly. P150,000 tuition fee for 30 hours yata.
The owners of the light airplanes, pilots and flying instructors were mostly foreigners.
Very light plane made of aluminum and composite material. There were some planes for sale, makabili nga para iwas traffic.
It’s only 9:40 and it was getting hotter. We walked back to the main road where we would be picked up.
Our tickets cost Oyen P1,000 for the 3 of us plus the driver.

the event organizers or the local government did not bother to designate a safe pedestrian crossing that’s both convenient and safe for the thousands of people. The policemen assigned to direct traffic just told the pedestrians to walk farther and pointed to nowhere. We crossed anyway although too risky.
We went back to the hotel for some R & R.

Yen and I had 45 minute foot massage (P400 each) . Nyke had an hour of full body massage (P550)
