The Breitling Jets team were having a meeting at the hotel lobby when we went down to go back to the Clark Airfield.
We waited for 15 minutes because Oyen wanted to have a picture with them but it looked like they were discussing some serious stuff that’s why we left.
The gentlemen wearing shorts is the owner of the jets according to the Filipino coordinator. Wow.
We went back to the airfield for the 5:30 hot air balloon and fireworks display. We were pretty early, in the meantime, Oyen and Nyke rented the Segway for P100 one round each. This is expensive pala, they’re for sale for P400,000 per unit. konti na lang Ford Fiesta na.
Segway is from the US. I’ve seen similar ones in China selling for $1,000 only, wholesale price.
We were more relaxed. We got to check-out the hundreds of food stalls.
Kain nito, kain noon. Busog na busog ako.
I was turned-off by the kalat. No one came to pick up the accumulating garbage. The organizers knew there would be at least a hundred thousand people, and people would for sure eat, drink, and pee. They should have came up with a good plan to make sure that garbage would be accumulate. Feeling ko para akong nasa dumpsite.
There were so many foreigners also walking and buying food. I felt so embarrassed for our country and I also felt insulted that the organizers and local government did not treat us with dignity and respect. Sobra akong madrama. That’s what I really felt that moment. Imagine? eating lugaw in the midst of this basura?
For next year, please compute the number of people projected to attend the 19th Hot Air Balloon and provide a good number of portable toilets.
