Isshin & Nihonbashi-tei - Oh My Buhay

Isshin & Nihonbashi-tei

Due to deadlines and piles of work,  we’ve been eating late lunches at our desks for the past months.

Sometimes we ate the same food everyday.  Fish fillet from Bon chon,  chicken with rice from Mini Stop, pasta bread with parmesan and pesto dip from Amici, chicken joy from Jollibee, Mang Inasal’s pitcho, and the gourmet sandwiches of Ginang Bukid.

Whole week last  week,  Oyen was in the mood for Japanese food.   I found myself eating ebi tempura for  4 consecutive days.

The Japanese people have the  longest life,  I hope eating their food would extend my life too.

We went to Isshin in Pasay Road two days in a row.  The restaurant is like a hole in the wall, but  comfortable and their prices are reasonable.  The meals include a small scoop of ice cream.

This place is always full of customers. As soon as someone leaves, a new group comes.

Their wooden floor is very slippery.

For delicious and informal meals, this is the place. For a more relaxed dining, Isshin is better.
