For us, Yedang is one of those restaurants that provide comfort food. When we are too lazy to think of a new restaurant to try or what food to eat, Yedang provides for the perfect answer- Yedang na lang.
But Yedang is certainly not “na lang”. It always gives us a good meal- delicious, fast, and reasonable, meron pang libreng pinya sa huli. As if we never had pinya. Ewan, parang mas masarap ang pinyang libre.
Edmund and I were at Home Depot in Julia Vargas last Sunday afternoon, when Oyen called looking for food. She said she’s hungry.
“Yedang na lang” since we’re just around the corner. Oyen picked up Nyke from our house and the four of us met-up at Yedang.
My son wasn’t in the mood to eat. He loves food, so when you ask him where he wants to eat or what food he likes and he answers “anything” and frowns in front of food, it means something is troubling him.
As soon as you and your husband entered, my sister said “Uy si Mrs Oh My Buhay.” My sister and I are both readers of your blog.
I was seated behind you (i can see my hair in the last picture) but we were too shy to greet you Mrs Yee (you were on the table right beside the entrance).
We had an early dinner so we left a few minutes after your two children arrived to join you and your husband.
And yes i noticed, while your daughter looked so happy and charming, your son (more pogi in person than in pictures) looked quite sad.
