We drove for several hours until we reached Bursa, our next destination.
We went past agricultural and industrial areas, and commercial establishments located on the long stretch leading to its city center.
Bursa is a modern city located on the slopes of Mount Olympus.
There were many tourists, and some of them we’ve seen in Pamukkale and Ephesus.
We had lunch at a quaint Turkish restaurant beside a mosque.
I would suppose this is the name of the restaurant- HUNKAR.
Their sofa doesn’t have foam. Kala ko malambot, pag-upo ko, ouch!
I am not fond of putting salt and pepper on my food, that’s why we don’t have a S&P shaker ready on our table at home. But while in Turkey, I’ve come to rely on them for extra flavor.
Plating needs improvement but the taste was good.
Edmund finished his, I didn’t dare taste mine.
We visited a mosque located around the corner from the restaurant. Women must always have scarves ready in situations like these.
Next stop was a tomb of some sultan maybe. I didn’t want to enter and dear husband accompanied me outside. Why would I visit a tomb? Negative fengshui yan.
Hindi ko naman yan kamag-anak.
It was a good chance to just sit and watch the other tourists walk by.
Masakit ang pwet ko sa ka-uupo sa bus.
