The very long travel time to Turkey and back didn’t tire me at all. Maybe it did, but the flight was more pleasant, contrary to the short 3.5 hours flight last June 9 from Manila to Kuala Lumpur, which made me dizzy and threw up at the KL airport. The plane swayed from left to right, very gradually, but it made me dizzy. I hoped for a more pleasant flight coming back to Manila.
The opposite happened. Maybe because of cloudy weather, both in Kuala Lumpur and within the Philippines’ area, the 3 and a half flight felt like forever. I was counting seconds and minutes. The plane turned right, turned left, made a big turn, and I didn’t know where it was going.
Halfway into our flight, the plane made a sudden dip which made me scream. When I came home and told Edmund about it, he asked “yung ibang pasahero ba sumigaw din?”
Hindi, ako lang.
Just when I thought we were already in the Philippines, the plane made several turns , kaliwa, kanan, akyat, baba, andar na naman, siguro traffic sa NAIA airport. Kakainis.
The good part was I saw a rainbow and beautiful cloud formations.
Aside from bumpy ride, it was sad looking at the Laguna de Bay from above. It’s colored murky brown and full of fish pens.
