A friend of mine, Vivian and her husband are partially retired. They spend 6 months in Manila and 6 months here in the Bay Area dividing their time between their sister-in-law in San Jose and a nephew in Hayward.
It just so happened that I’m also here in Hayward so last Wednesday, I picked her up from Tepic Place near Mission Blvd. where they’re staying at.
I copied the direction from Google maps. From Len’s house, turn right, then right again at Hesperian Blvd., then left at West Tennyson, Right at Mission Blvd.
While waiting for the green light, i saw this woman crossed the street in full confidence, walking sexily with her midrib shirt and protruding stomach.
I reached my friend’s place in about 15 minutes.
They’re staying with her nephew. It’s a nice row of big townhouses.
Coming back to Aileen’s house, I missed the West Tennyson Street where I was supposed to turn left this time. Nagkaligaw-ligaw kami. Instead of reaching Aileen’s house in 15 minutes, we got there in 30, not bad.
I served Vivian some wanton soup which Aileen cooked the night before. we also had halo-halo. We also went to Southland Mall, nagtingin-tingin, and ate yogurt.
When we were driving back to Mission Blvd, I missed Tennyson again because I was chatting while driving, I went straight and reached Union City. Long story short, instead of a 15 minute ride, it became 35 minutes.
Pabalik kila Aileen, nagka-ligaw-ligaw na naman ako. I missed my exit and ended up somewhere out there. My sister got so worried and was calling the Blackberry and since I was driving, I didn’t even notice or hear it ringing.
Instead of a 15 minute ride back, it took me another 30 minutes.
My sense of direction is very poor. In one day, I got lost 3 x. Terrible.
