Some Facebook Do’s and Don’ts

BE WARY:

Not everything that’s posted on Facebook is true. Let us not completely believe opinions, views, insights. Let us not take other people’s opinions as a historical fact or Biblical prediction. Other’s hear one person say it, and it’s as if that’s been scientifically proven or told by a million people.

A million people believing in one thing doesn’t mean that it’s true.

Let’s use our best judgment. Let us not easily jump into conclusions. Let us not quick to believe chain letters, chain posts.
Even if we think it’s true, let’s not quick to judge.

SOME FACEBOOK DO’s and DON’Ts:

Lately, I’ve been seeing some unpleasant posts on Facebook.

1. People, if I may request, please don’t send prayers that include “if you don’t send this to 10 friends, something bad would happen to you”. I say that you are a VERY BAD PERSON if you do this. Dapat sa’yo i-unfriend FOREVER.

2. Many people use Facebook to express their hidden fantasies. Merong mga misis na naka bikini, okay lang ito. If they are proud of their bodies, nothing wrong. But don’t wear high heels, and make sure you’re in the beach not in your bedroom or kitchen. Unless you are an A go go dancer inviting customers to go to your club. Or you are open for business.

3. Husbands naman, guys, before you post your photos na naka hubad kayo, pls think twice. Unless yung abs nyo at muscles eh kasing ganda nung kay Hugh Jackman, better to keep your photos in your family photo album at home. Masagwa kasing tingnan. Okay lang naka hubad or naka bikini basta make sure you’re at the beach or in the swimming pool.

4. Ladies, pasensya na pero asiwa ako sa mga babae na nakakalat ang cleavage. Yah you are right, because I don’t have cleavage. So make sure if you will click share or post your photo, paki ligpit nga muna ang iyung mga hinaharap.

5. Men, please do not forward or share videos and photos that are sexually explicit. Please consider that our friends on Facebook share accounts with their young, teenage children.
Respeto lang naman. If you are sobrang ma-L, go Phaaa yourself.

6. Husbands, please don’t post a photo of you with your wife sitting on your lap with your hand on her breast. Unless your wife is for hire and you are the manager. Hindi kami naiinggit, naiinis kami. Walang galang sa asawa. Sira ulo mo!

7. I truly and sincerely condole with those who lost their loved ones. But please, do not post their photos while they’re inside the kabaong. We get the point. Oo na nga, dead na sya. No need to over emphasize by posting dozens of photos of the person peacefully resting inside the kabaong, and in different angles pa. Side view, top view, back view, close up pa! Feel na feel na namin.

8. We all want to remember our departed loved ones. We want to retain their good memories, in our hearts and in our minds. Please post their nice photos, yung alive pa sya. Hindi yung dead na at naghihingalo sa hospital. Kahit naka make-up, kahit
Max Factor or L-oreal pa yung make-up medyo, not nice pa rin. So please?
