September 7 Saturday
After the photo shoot, Yen and I decided to swing by a restaurant for dinner.
It was my suggestion that we try the French restaurant at the Fort called Champetre, owned and operated by Chef Marc Aubry.
Though we called in advance, the only table available was one near the wine cellar, or outside. Ayaw ko nga sa labas.
The place has a French provincial style. They sell bottles of wine, fruit preserves/ jams, etc.
They gave us soft hot bread and butter.
I forgot what this was. I think seafood soup with emmental cheese and chopped parsley on top. It tasted a bit like seafood bouillabaisse. Yen and I each ordered a bowl.
We split an order of Scallop and Prawns Risotto. Buti na lang kasi busog na kami from the bread and soup.
Strawberry Sherbet for me.
I would like to go back to Champetre for this alone. It’s cool and comforting.
I forgot how much I paid. We didn’t order much. I probably paid P2,500.
