Philippines Best Dressed 2013

Seems like yesterday. Para bang I had just attended the 2012 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines awards night at the same venue.  Feeling ko ba I had just finished uploading their photos and video clips.  Eto na naman.

This is the biggest annual fund raising event  organized by the Philippine Cancer Society.

Last year,  Kathleen Lior-Liechtenstein was among the awardees,  this year it’s her one and only daughter’s turn.  Bilis talaga ng panahon.

Lorna became an instant  superstar after she guested on Vice Ganda’s television show.

The food servers had a grand entrance. They did the catwalk while holding the food trays. In Shangrila Singapore naman, merong espada. Para bang gusto kong sabihin, “eh manong, pwede mamaya na kayo mag-espadahan, paki serve na yung food at gutom na kami”.

I was served salad twice. Waiter “mam, meron na kayong salad?” “OO, ubos ko na”.
He brought me another one. Julienne said “maybe you look hungry”.

I was sick the whole day.  I was ready to leave for work but Oyen advised me to just rest so I could go to this event.  She gave me Biogesic which helped a lot.  I slept the whole day.

I didn’t know there were two choices of entrée-  beef or fish.

I was busy watching and taking pictures,  I forgot to eat my dessert.

I bought one raffle ticket, as usual, I didn’t win anything.

Mags Cue from Cagayan De Oro, owner of restaurant Mesa.  She had participated in Miss Iloilo, Miss Iligan, and Mutya ng Pilipinas.
