Bagpipes and St. Giles’ Cathedral

I walked down the road from the Castle Rock. I was afraid to veer away from the main road for fear of getting lost. The driver would pick me up at exactly 2:30 pm and I couldn’t afford to be late. In my short stay here in Scotland, I noticed that they were always on time. They’re actually always ahead of schedules.

I was still a little farther away and yet I could already hear bagpipes.

I think it’s rude to take photos or videos of street musicians without giving them some money. They’re there for a living, so I always give. They keep the place alive and I’m entertained so I reciprocate by giving a few bucks.

Believe me, for a few seconds, I considered buying these matching Scottish traditional outfits, for dear husband and I.

I walked farther down, towards where the driver said he would pick me up.

I saw a nice church along the way and decided to visit and make 3 wishes.

The 1,000 year old St. Giles’ Cathedral is the main place of worship in Edinburgh.

I wished for the same thing. My family’s health and safety.
