We went to church at 8 pm on January 1, 2014. I think this was the first time that we attended a mass this late, except for misa de gallo. Nice pala to go to church at this hour. Parking and seats were abundant.
There was a big tarpouline outside announcing the 2014 pilgrimages. There’s an Eastern Europe one with Fr. Peter Coching. I’d like to join, time and funds permitting.
We didn’t realize it was already 9:30 pm when we got out of church. Most restaurants were closed and those that were open had limited dishes available.
After driving to two restaurants that were closed, we landed in Misato, Edmund and I’s first time.
They didn’t have prawn tempura, meat dishes, etc. kasi there was no delivery of fresh meats and seafood today (Jan 1).
Gyoza
We sat at a table near the window facing Meralco Avenue. I noticed a lot of taxis coming and going with groups of men and women getting off.
It’s gimmick time pala.
Edmund parked at the very back of Metrowalk kaya we had to cross the gimmick area.
There was a band on stage and maraming nagha-happy-happy. I sound old.
