JRS

I went to Robinsons Galleria thursday evening. I hate falling in line here just to enter their mall. I feel a little humiliated to go through this, my bag searched, and sometimes my body is patted. This is the reality. Living in a country where no one could be trusted. Baka may holdupper, may baril, may martilyo, may bomba.

There’s a new music school on the fourth floor and they set-up a small off-site display on the ground floor to promote their music classes. This pretty mestiza attracted a small audience.

Kita daw pekpek

I came here to JRS Express in Robinsons to ship the Bicol t-shirts door to door to ohmybuhay raffle winners.
Last Tuesday evening, I sent my driver here, sya ang inutusan ko. He wasn’t able to send the shirts because according to him JRS Express was closed and would be open on Friday. I doubted if what he said was accurate. The stores inside the mall are not allowed to close earlier than 9 pm unless they have a prior permission from the mall’s admin. And why would they be closed for the holiday April 9, and again on Thursday? Very doubtful.

JRS Express office

Omb to JRS —– “What time did you close last tuesday?”
JRS————- “9 mam, hanggang 9 kami”.
Omb————- “Were you closed on wednesday?”
JRS————- “Open mam, everyday kami kahit holiday”.

JRS receiving counter

Omb to driver— “Bakit sinabi mo sarado sila eh bukas daw sila hanggang 9 pm and kahit nung holiday and thursday. Alam ko na nga ba mali ang sinasabai mo sa akin”.
Driver——— “Sarado sila mam”.
Omb———— “Baka mali ang pinuntahan mo, saan ka ba nagpunta?”
Driver——— “Sa JRS mam, sarado na sila, nagliligpit na nga, tinatalian na yung mga gamit nila, inililigpit na”.

He probably saw the piles of boxes ready for pick-up and delivery and concluded that they were packing up.

Omb———— “Mali iyun, hindi ko alam kung saan ka nagpunta”.
Driver——— “Sinungaling sila, sinungaling sila, sinabi nila sa akin sarado na sila at sa byernes sila magbubukas”.

Bicol t-shirts for shipment

Wala pa akong driver na inutusan na mag ship thru LBC or JRS na tumama. Even Pentium 3 also got it wrong. Yung isa si John, shipped 10 Ford Cainta give-away bags all to me. I gave him a computerized list of names with addresses. Instructed him to ship the 10 bags to those 10 people. Place in separate JRS plastic bags individually. What he did was he placed all the 10 bags in one big JRS box, and shipped them to one address— MINE! It didn’t even occur to him why I would ship those to myself, eh nasa akin na.
