I am so behind with my posts.
2:45 pm —- Bus ride to Eiffel Tower in Avenue Anatole, Champ de Mars, Paris.
3:00—- Got tickets to second level of Tour Eiffel. The tour guide said we’re lucky because she was able to get 25 tickets for all of us. She’s right naman kasi ang haba ng pila.
3:30— Panoramic views high above the Eiffel Tower. This’ my 3rd time to climb this icon, Nyke’s second, Oyen’s third. Although I’ve been to Paris 15 times, I enjoyed this tower more from afar. I liked watching it from a distance, at night, not during daytime. Mukhang kalawang pag araw.
The Eiffel Tower is named after the one who designed and built it, Engineer Gustave Eiffel. They only built this in two years from 1887-1889. Ang bilis ano, kung sa Pilipinas yan baka hindi matapos, kakalawangin na hindi pa tapos. Lalagariin yan ng mga magnanakaw.
I was not excited to go up the Eiffel Tower again. While waiting for our ticket time, I took a photo of its belly. “O ayan nakita na natin pwet ni Eiffel, pwede na tayong umalis”.
There was a time when I would find every excuse to come to Paris. I didn’t have a lot of pocket money but I was able to find activities that I truly enjoyed like staring at the Eiffel Tower for several hours. I would sit right on this spot from late afternoon till night time till the lights were switched on.
It was free entertainment. I would just sit there on the grass with a light jacket while communing with the sky and with myself.
There were times when this whole place was practically covered with people, local and foreign tourists alike. I would sit on this yellow spot instead. I was alone, all the time, no one bothered me. I would lay on the grass and look at the sky. I felt so free and happy.
Paris is so beautiful, on the ground and up.
That tall building sticks like a sore thumb.

My daughter is curious about this Michelin star French cuisine restaurant on top of tour Eiffel. It has her name kasi, Jules Verne.
We’ll eat there next time maybe.
4:15—- Bought/ ate crepes et fromage
Edmund and I enjoyed their crepes last year that’s why I convinced Oyen and Nyke to eat too, they didn’t like it as much kasi they only chose cheese. Nakaka suya and very heavy. Last year, it was specifically gruyere, ngayon it only says fromage. I had jambon et fromage last year, this time nakigaya na lang ako sa kanila fromage lang. Kulang sa lasa.
4:30— Split up with Federal tour group. They were all tired and sleepy they went back to the hotel. Since the three of us arrived the day before, we were well rested and we didn’t want to go to the hotel yet, sayang ang oras. At saka yung Mercure Hotel in Nanterre eh malayo sa kabihasnan.
4:45— Took a cab to Rue de Faubourg.
