June 8, 2014 Bordeaux
We each got a room for ourselves. I am in room 329 while Nyke is in 405, Oyen in 406.
With my continuous travel-lags, I wanted to plunge into this comfy pillows and bed right away.
I like this room, it’s miles away from our room in Mercure Nanterre, Paris.
In my 3 days stay, I never got to use the modern espresso machine. The water pot was useful for tea.
Room safe is for passports, credit cards, some cash. I divide my cards and money. I don’t bring all my credit cards in my handbag. In case I lose my bag, at least I will not go wandering in the streets of Bordeaux begging for a buck.
Everything is modern. The hotel looks like it’s been newly renovated.
It changed my perception of Mercure Hotel. I thought they all looked dilapidated like the one in Nanterre.
