I caught up with my kids in Printemps but the department store was about to close because it was almost 8 pm. I wish stores in Europe and
America have longer business hours.
We walked behind Printemps, curious what’s in that area aside from Gare St Lazare.
Tired of walking, we saw this Japanese fast food and with a little hesitation decided to eat here. “Sige dito na lang”.
Oyen’s
Nyke’s
Mine
Lahat walang sala.
We noticed Oyen’s blouse’s tag/ label’s outside.
Oops, baligtad.
Walk back or train, no taxi. Train.
Nyke was designated as the the one in charge of determining where our correct exit would be. We got off at this street, very far away from our hotel, about two miles walk.
This chateau was right there at the corner where we exited from the Metro train.
The three of us fell in love with this chateau.
The gate was open, there’s a restaurant pala inside. Sayang, we’re busog pa. Next time.
Me——–“Anak, pls take my picture, kunwari dito ako nakatira”.
Do I look like the owner or the muchacha? This place is so lovely. I could see myself living here.
There were cartoon statues in its front yard, weird.
We were so curious who owns this or who lives there.
It’s already past 9 pm but the sky is still bright. It’s our last night in Paris and we’re savoring the cool breeze.
Sayang, celebrities would be trouping down to this part of Paris for the film festival but unfortunately they wouldn’t have the chance to meet us.
It’s 10:30 before it gets really dark. Nice to walk sana but most shops close at 8 pm except for a few stores in the tourist infested Champs Elysees.
My new walking shoes’ first trip to the toilet (@Haagen-Dazs’s building)
Mother and son are sorbetes, gelato, ice cream buddies.
This tiny car is just adorable but dangerous to be racing against bigger cars.
Selling eye glasses or ngala-ngala.
My two companions like to look at fancy cars. They always stop and look every time there’s a Ferrari, Lamborghini.
Oyen———– “Shoti, do you want to ride, 89 Euro, sige na”.
Miss YYY bought french fries. This McDonald’s has been here since time immemorial. I used to come here for brunch all the time because this was the only place my budget could afford. The French bistros were too expensive for my travel budget, 25 years ago.
Time to go back to the hotel and pack.
