I went to Medical City last Friday for another round of ultrasound. Kala ko kasi they have a 4D machine. I thought I’ve seen it in one of their ads. Hindi pala, they still have the 2D machine.
I was there at 12 noon but the only spot they were able to give me was for the last call, 5:30 pm.
I left muna and went back at 4:40pm. As soon as I opened their door, the receptionist called out my name “Tan-Yee, Annie”. Super perfect timing.
Nurse—– “Mam upo muna kayo, aayusin lang yung room”.
There’s a stack of magazines on the counter. I chose this one, the local Esquire magazine. There’s a local one na pala. I haven’t read this publication, neither here nor abroad.
Do you want to be on the cover of a magazine pero kokoronahan ka ng biik at susupalpalan ka ng epol? That’s so difficult. Mahipan ka pa ng hangin hindi na sumara ang bibig mo. Ang taba pa ng apple. Dapat tulis lang.
Patola kaya? Too big? Talong? Big, still? Banana? Medium sized? Okra? Small? Siling haba? Too thin naman? Hmm, let me think… Oh I know.
