Even if my driver didn’t know where Trece Martires in Cavite City was, I dared go with the help of cellphone. I called the other party every time we hit an intersection. We were in an unfamiliar place, and it would be difficult to get lost.
I was having lunch with a group of bankers and I made it just in time. 12 noon.
They brought me to Cavite Republic restaurant some 3 minutes drive from their bank.
An old replica photo of Cavite’s pride and glory, Emilio Aguinaldo” was displayed at the restaurant’s foyer.
One of this days I am going to buy several of this capiz windows, natutuwa ako. I don’t know yet where to put it, basta, I will buy.
They did the ordering, lahat naman masarap except for the maiz con hielo
They ate the box of chocolates I gave them kaya I was the only one who ordered dessert. Hindi masarap yung maiz con hielo nila. Kasi they used whole kernel corns. Dapat the cream style corn.
Braised tofu with pechay and oyster sauce
I was interested in the soup tureen, not in the contents. See I didn’t even remember what the soup was. Bulalo? Eh, nalimutan ko.
I haven’t seen anything like this dish. Karekare with crispy pata on top.
The crispy skin was so good and it was perfect with the peanut sauce. Oh my, sobrang lakas sa kanin.
Dexter, Pythagoras, Jonathan, Elsa, and Nanette. Thank you for the delicious Cavitenio lunch.
