I spent three and a half hours this morning looking for an envelope containing around $1,000. Three days ago I was preparing my wallet for the US, checking my US cards, etc. when I found an envelope containing several hundred dollar bills and some smaller denominations like $20, $5. Siguro yan galing pa last year, naitago ko. Now, I couldn’t find it anymore. It vanished. Ang natatandaan ko, I took out the bills and placed it in my bag. Ngayon wah na. Did any of our maids take it?
I lock my bathroom when I leave the house, but in the morning while Edmund and I are having breakfast, and at night while having dinner, syempre I don’t lock it.
Could it be that someone slipped into my bathroom and took my money? Or maybe I just misplaced them. But I have been looking everywhere for 3 hours and malapit na akong umiyak, hindi ko na makita, eh baon ko yun mamaya. Wahhh.
