Continuation of Washington DC activities
September 25, 2014 Thursday
After we visited the office of US House Speaker John Boehner, his staff Andrew Tinder gave us a tour of this humongous building.
Andrew said the Statue of Liberty could fit in here.

Tired and with tummy discomfort.
Roseni Alvero, Commercial Counselor, Philippine Embassy.
The middle portion is cordoned for members of US Congress easy passage.
Andrew Tinder, Jeffrey Ng, President of Cathay Land and Cathay Metal Corp.
Stratbase COO, Rupert Paul Manhit and Prof. Dinod Manhit, Managing Director and Founder of Stratbase.
Very large murals mostly done by artist John Trumbull, adorn the circular hall. This one depicts the landing of Christopher Columbus.
There are a hundred statues spread all over.
Andrew kept on moving from one statue to another eh ang layu-layo. Nakakapagod.
All statues here are fully clothed, either wearing cloaks, suits, wind breakers, sobrang balot na balot. There’s nothing to look at. I like the statues at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
Amazed at how you were able to go around and pose for souvenir shots despite of your tummy situation 🙂 hope you are well now ms Annie! Na miss ko tlga ang mga posts mo. I said a little prayer for you when you were MIA! Get well soon 🙂
Good to know you are now able to blog even a few entries. Get well soon Ms. Anne.
