Lartizan - Oh My Buhay

Sometime ago, my kids and I had dinner in Bonifacio High Street. Even after eating, window shopping, and walking the whole stretch of the commercial area, we still had high adrenaline left.

Kunwari to unwind, looking for something to cap our night, coffee perhaps.

We chanced upon this new elegant French pastries tea salon called Lartizan Boulangerie Francaise. Lartizan is a play of the French word l’artisan.

If I am not mistaken, this spot used to be a Mediterranean cuisine resto. Iba na pala.
This meant I’ve not been coming to this place for quite sometime.

We were not sure if Lartizan was about to close for the night when we walked in. At close to midnight, we literally invaded their gorgeous shop.

We were told that Lartizan opened in March of this year and is the high-end concept venture of Johnlu Koa, founder of French Baker.

Their interior designer did a good job in achieving the high end look. The interior is elegant.

We took home a bottle of pate and baked products.

We didn’t want to leave yet. We were enjoying the ambience and exclusivity kasi kami lang nadun.

That gilded wooden tray could be made in Italy. I have one like that. I don’t know if there are also made in France, baka meron din.

Their choice of china is impressive. In keeping with their theme and sosiness, they risked having Bernardaud in the store.

We were supposed to taste this only but we ended up ordering 4 or 6 times yata.
