CHOPS & Lush

It’s been a long time since my son and I bonded together. I was away for more than a month, and he’s always scarce attending to his own things.

I was happy the two of us bonded last night. He made time for me. We attended the 6 pm mass then went to CHOPS in Shangrila Mall for dinner.

I didn’t have any preference. I wanted noodle soup sana but at the same time I wanted to try something new.

Nyke ordered the OMAHA Rib Eye Steak

I wasn’t sure if the rosemary bread was really delicious or I was just starving.

We had Rockefeller Oysters for appetizer. They served this very fast, but COLD. They were not baked, siguro for faster serving , they thought of just putting the toppings and either they microwaved it quickly just to melt the cheese.  It tasted good though with a dash of lemon.

I had Chilean Sea bass for main course.

Nyke ordered a side dish for his steak,  Spinach with parmesan.  It’s so delicious and next time we come here,  I would just order this.

When it’s time to pay, I got my credit card from my bag but my son said he would take care of it. No big deal. he he he. He paid around P3,500.00. I kidded him “anak, I should always go out with you”. He smiled.

Nyke——-“O mom, do you want to inhale your Lush soap?”

This one’s KARMA soap.  I don’t run out of supply because he supplies me with a big slice every few months.

My son was so galante. Basta lahat ng hawakan ko at amuyin, he would say “O you like that? Get that na”. He even asked if I wanted to have the whole thing. The girl said 3 kilos yun, kaya P8,000 plus. My son didn’t even blink. There’s a bigger one weighing 6 kilos, mga P12,000+ daw. My son didn’t even say wow, ang mahal naman. He said “One day you might find that in your bathroom”. Whoa! He he he. I might get used to being a spoiled mom.

Before going home, he bought me naman a cup of Golden Spoon yogurt.
