Edmund and I were able to claim two round trip business class tickets from our accumulated mileage. Aside from airline miles accruals, we transferred credit card points to PAL.
Although they still charged taxes and fees of about $500 per person, It’s still huge savings.
Since we only got two free tickets, I still have to buy two more for Oyen and Nyke.
I saw PAL’s advertisement of a 50% sale using Mastercard. A bit hesitant, I managed to leave the house earlier.

I stood there, after 5 minutes, I asked someone in line if PAL had started. He said yes.
After another 5 minutes, I asked the security guard, she said there’s a big line upstairs. I said “one hundred? three hundred people?” She answered, lampang isang libo. What the pak pak!
I thought the start was 9 am? How did they manage to go up there ahead of me? They’ve been here since midnight, 2 am, 3 am, some at 4 am. Anak ng kwasong.
I left the line and walked past the security guards who were making harang those people going up the escalator. Nanay ko po, when I reached the top, I could smell the body heat, and it was chaotic.
There must be two thousand people there, Oh no. I couldn’t do this line. Hindi ko kaya, it’s either mahihilo ako, magma migraine ako, mahihimatay ako o maiihi ako. I left.
