My daughter first discovered them from Deal Grocer. She bought a spa package. We went after the typhoon which left their facility with no electricity and some areas were destroyed. The owner was very accommodating and despite the fact that they were supposed to be undergoing minor repair that day, he accommodated our treatments for a reflexology massage at the lounge overlooking the Taal Lake.
After a few weeks, Oyen and I went back, with Edmund and Nyke in tow. Oyen and I availed of our GC, and we paid for two px additional. Before we left, the owners gave me a free gift certificate for a Rose Reverie Package. Medyo I was embarrassed to accept but of course, mas nakakahiyang tanggihan.
I have actually forgotten about it. It’s been a few months since I received that. One time, my daughter asked me where the GC was. I told her I didn’t know where I kept it. She said “naku”.
I again have forgotten that Oyen looked for it. Then a few days ago, I was looking for a bag receipt which I couldn’t find, and instead, I found the Qi Spa GC. It’s expiring on November 23. Malapit na.
I told my daughter if she would like to come with me to Tagaytay. I was really going, we would just stay longer to have the spa package.
And who says no to an afternoon of pampering? Certainly not my daughter.
We first had a half-hour foot reflexology massage at the lounge overlooking the Taal Lake. I think this is not supposed to be included in the Rose Reverie Package.
One never gets tired staring at this magnificent view.
I was tired and feeling warm although the breeze was probably in the 20s. The iced water was enough to calm me down a bit. I didn’t drink the rice tea.
We were placed in a room with two massage beds full of fresh red rose petals from at least two dozen stems. We didn’t want to lay down on them, kasi sayang.
Rose scented body scrub and moisturizer. The smell was very subtle.
Ang puti ko na. My legs looked like French bread with sugar coating.
We messed up the place. I dragged the rose petals to the shower.
After 3 hours of pampering, it’s time for tipping.
I fell asleep and didn’t want to open my eyes. I wanted to just stay here for the night. My body was plastered on the bed and I had a hard time opening my eyes.
It was already past 7 when we went out of the room, madilim na.
He’s explaining to us that the Koi are fed strictly on schedule.
You can actually have dinner here. There’s an open terrace and a bar. Oyen and I will try their food next time. Parang mas bagay mag lovers kasi the ambiance is quite romantic.
It’s very serene. I like coming to Tagaytay on weekdays, no traffic, lesser people, more relaxing.
