(This is an overdue post. It was overtaken by events, I forgot to publish it.)
For the first time husband brought me to the golf course to watch the Valley Golf team finals game against Forest Hills.
Normally, non-golfers, spectators, non-players are not allowed in the fairway kasi they might get hit by golf balls. Tsukk, bukol.
Other members of the Valley Team, not playing on the day, wait for their comrades.
Edmund with Roman “RB” Baltazar, Joey Ramoso, Eric Luchang
It was a hot sunny day with intermittent light breeze, I was cross-eyed from drowsiness. Antuk-na-antok ako. I wanted to lay down on the grass. Edmund left me inside the cart, that would somehow protect me from getting hit by a ball.
I really don’t know how golfers could stand the heat.
Chino Raymundo looks on while Eric Lautchang Gallardo is reading the green.
Chino Raymundo is many times golf club champion, and is one of Valley Golf’s ace players.
I was happy my husband brought me deep into the fairways. The scenery is great, I want to have a garden this big. Very nice siguro, I can roll down the hills and have fun. Eto na naman ako, mahilig mag I want I want.
Husband said it would be too expensive to maintain a big garden “mantakin mong sino ang maggugupit ng damo”.
Dream lang naman.
We didn’t finish the game. When we were crossing the club house to get to the parking lot, we saw my friends from PCCI having lunch.

Valley Golf beat Forest Hills in the finals.
Congratulations to Valley Golf team for successfully defending their title as Federation Golf champions. Well, sort of, they shared the glory with the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club team because it was a tie. Wack wack has a championship team also, boasting of players such as Senator JV Ejercito, Congressman Jack Duavit, Tommy Manotoc, etc.
