I sent Antonia to the market to buy ingredients for pansit bihon. Syempre naman it’s my son’s birthday, there must be birthday noodles in keeping with our Pilipino or Chinese tradition, for long life.
I knew no one would eat the pansit except “them” kasi we’re going out to dinner but still, I asked Antonia to cook some for all of us.
I also gave her money to buy ingredients for the Thai Beef Salad she learned how to make the other day at the free one week cooking lessons held here in the village clubhouse every afternoon since Monday.
Antonia is excited to finish the 5 day cooking classes, not to learn something new, but to qualify for the “raffles”.
