Alex O’s childhood dream was to become a policeman like his father, Jesus. But when his father died of kidney problems at the age of 35 years old while serving as a policeman in Bacoor, he abandoned his dream. His mother was unable to send him thru college because she lost money selling fish in the public market. His interest shifted to culinary arts but could not afford the HRM (Hotel and Restaurant Management) course. He met his wife in a boarding house. Now 30, his only wish is to be able to send their two children, ages 8 and 1, thru school so that they would have a better chance in life.
